I made a new Captain Jack Sparrow compass replica, because the other one I have pictures of up on this site was sadly destroyed. But the new one is made of wood and metal, and so is hopefully a little more durable. It looks better in person than in the pictures, because the camera flash lights up all of the glue and makes it look weird. To see more detail, download the picture.
Awesome job. I did a prop-object blueprinting tutorial based on Captain Jacks compass many moons ago so I know how detailed this prop gets. You did a fantastic job recreating the compass.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

did you make that tutorial? That's what I used for the measurements of the size of the compass. It is most excellent and very helpful.
